Olivarez College Job Fair Successful Olivarez College launched Job Expo 2010: An Olivarian Job Fair; on February 19, 2010. The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Selfa Legesniana, Guidance Director. It started with a career talk from the invited speakers who were credible in their field of specialization. According to Ms. Legesniana, many graduating students and alumni availed of the services as record showed a significant turnout compared to last year in terms of applicants attendance and companies response. The speakers were: Ms. Donna Leigh F. Ines Ms. Vanessa Noel Ms. Ma. Teresa A. Tiangco The participating companies are the following: AMEHAN INTERNATIONAL JOB PLACEMENT AGENCY OC Celebrates Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Day Teachers and non-teaching staff of Olivarez College have influencing roles in the life of every Olivarian. They are like beacons of light, guiding students in the formative years of their lives. In the light of this, they need encouragement and support from the administrators to feel that their efforts are being recognized. To serve the purpose, Teachers and Non-Teaching staff Day is celebrated every year. Since Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Day is observed on different dates in the country, the celebrations also vary. On February 12, 2010 Olivarez College celebrated the Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff Day. The students offered flowers, greeting cards and gifts as their token of affection to the teachers and non-teaching staff. There was a “BIDA BEST GAYA-GAYA” contest. It is an impersonation contest among teachers and Non-Teaching Staff. The winners are Dr. Pastor Judith Valcorza (CBATCH) 1st place, Ms. Rosa V. Sionson (CASE) 2nd place, Engr. Caroline K. Rodriguez (CASE) 3rd place and Ms. Rosalin Misa (BED) 4th place. Winners received cash, glass trophy and gift pack. OLIVAREZ COLLEGE academic and cultural tilt champs in PSAP '10 Olivarez College Basic Education Department proclaimed overall champion in the academic, literary, arts and musical competitions of the 2010 Private Schools Association of Parañaque (PSAP) held on February 18-19, 2010 at St. Paul College Parañaque. There were twenty four (24) participating schools. The following are the list of winners:
