Admission

Graduate School - Admission Requirements

In general only applicants who in addition to the required educational attainment meet the level of academic achievement that implies a developed ability for advanced study will be admitted to the Graduate School of Olivarez College. Applicants for admission to the Graduate School must comply with the requirements of the said programs.

New Students

  • New student shall submit the following requirements to the Graduate school:
    1. Completed information sheet with 2 recent 2x2 pictures;
    2. Original and Xerox copy of transcript of records;
    3. Certificate of employment / permit to study;
    4. Two character recommendations, one from office superior and another from an non-relative of the applicant;
    5. Two recent 1x1 ID pictures;
    6. Two long folders.
  • Passed the entrance examination
  • Passed the interview by the Dean of the Graduate School

Transferees

  • 2.1.2.1 Transferees shall submit the following:
    1. Honorable dismissal;
    2. Certificate of units earned and description of subjects taken from other school to serve as basis for evaluation;
    3. Certificate of employment;
    4. Two recent 2x2 pictures;
    5. Two recent 1x1 pictures;
    6. Two long folders.
  • Passed the entrance examination
  • Passed the personal interview by the Dean of the Graduate School

Old Students

  • Evaluation of the subjects taken

For MA. Ed. Students

  • Students graduated from non-educational courses shall be required to complete al least twelve (12) units of undergraduate education subjects which shall be prescribed by the dean of the Graduate School.
  • Students graduated from non-educational courses shall be considered in the MA. Ed. Program if the following subjects have taken up.
    1. Child and Adolescent Development (3 units)
    2. The Teaching Profession (3 units)
    3. Principles of Teaching 1 and 2 (3 units)
    4. Assessment of Learning 1 and 2 (3 units)

For MBA Students

  • Students graduated from non-business courses shall be required to complete at least twelve (12) units of undergraduate business subjects which shall be prescribed by the Dean of the Graduate School.
  • Students graduated from non-business courses shall be considered in the MBA program if the following subjects have been taken up:
    1. Accounting land 2 (6 units);
    2. Management 1 (3 units);
    3. Marketing 1 (3 units).

For Foreign Students

  • Foreign students shall submit the following to the Graduate School:
    • Completed information sheet with 2 recent 2x2 pictures
    • Credits earned abroad must be certified by the Registrar
    • Verified copy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)
    • Student Visa
  • Passed the entrance examination
  • Passed the personal interview by the Dean of the Graduate School
